Grain Guard's experienced Research & Development team has innovated the Rocket Aeration System, yet again. Introducing the Next Generation Rocket!
New Design:
- Smooth louvered surface allows for cleaner unloading
- 4% to 8% more louvered surface area (depending on model) than the Classic Rocket
- Improved performance through re-design to provide more air delivery to the center of the hopper, where air is most difficult to move
- New reduced weight, re-designed side legs and internal support rings provide greater structural strength, up to 125% greater than the Classic Rocket
- Improved design results in increased vertical loading up to 30' in grain height
- 3 leg design provides better stability in the bin
- Design allows the installation of the Next Generation Rocket into commercial applications by simply adding extra legs, up to five on the 7000 series and up to eight on the 8000 series
- The Next Generation is a result of 5 years of field testing

- Extended legs reach up to top reinforcing rings (3/4 up Rocket length) to provide a much stronger structure

Straight Duct
A SYSTEM DESIGN FOR MAXIMUM AIRFLOW.
- The Helfer duct rocket penetrates the center of the bin to release air into the core
- Fan efficiency is increased by as much as 20%
- Static pressure is lowered
- Drying time is reduced by as much as 50%
- 15" round floor ducts push air up from the floor and out towards the bin walls
All of the systems below come standard with a 48" Helfer duct. Add 24" or 48" extension for all tall bins.
Wall Vents
- Reduce static pressure
- Maximize air flow
- Reduce drying time by eliminating moisture movement to the top of the bin
- Easily opened and closed from ground level with a unique rope system
- Can be used to enhance other aeration systems

THE QUONSET SYSTEM IS PERFECT WHEN DRYING ISN'T POSSIBLE.
Due to the large mass of grain stored, it is not reasonable to expect the system to dry the grain.
The systems are used to aerate (1/10 CFM per bushel) the grain, cooling it down and preventing overheating or spoilage. These systems can also be used to maintain the mass of grain until it can be properly dried. With the large masses of grain stored in Quonsets, even 10% of spoiled grain can mean large financial losses.
Grain Guard's Helfer Duct Quonset systems can be run in a straight line down the center, or can be designed (see picture at right) to serve your specific needs. By indicating to us the size of your storage building and the product to be aerated, we can custom design your system to work for you.
All duct systems have inner structural strength to withstand large volumes of grain and are easily assembled and disassembled.
